Rendering & brickwork services
Three render systems and selected brickwork, carried out across Cheshire, South Manchester, the Wirral, Liverpool, Wigan, Chester and North Wales.
Specialists, not generalists
We do two things, and we do them properly: rendering and selected brickwork. Keeping that focus is deliberate — it means the same people are on your job who were on the last twenty like it, rather than a general builder taking on a render system for the first time.
On the rendering side we install three systems, and which one is right depends on your property rather than on what we'd prefer to be applying. Silicone suits re-renders and exposed elevations, monocouche suits new blockwork, and traditional sand and cement suits period property, repairs and anything being painted.
On the brickwork side we build boundary and garden walls, entrance pillars, and brick and blockwork for extensions. Because we do both trades, projects that involve a wall being built and then rendered stay with one team and one quotation.

Each page covers what the system is, what it suits, how we install it and what it costs you in time on site.
Silicone Render
A flexible, water-repellent thin-coat system that keeps its colour and stays cleaner for longer. Our most popular finish for re-rendering existing homes across Cheshire and South Manchester.

Monocouche Render
A through-coloured, one-coat cement render with a hand-scraped finish. Hard-wearing, self-coloured and the system we most often recommend for new builds, extensions and self-build projects.

Traditional Smooth Render
Hand-applied sand and cement rendering, floated flat for a clean, timeless finish. The right choice for period properties, patch repairs and anywhere the elevation is going to be painted.

Brickwork & Garden Walls
Boundary walls, garden and retaining walls, brick entrance pillars and extension brick and blockwork — built on proper foundations and finished with the pointing and detailing that make the difference.

How we quote and work
We survey before we quote
No square-metre rate over the phone. We come out, look at the walls, and quote the job in front of us.
Detailed written quotations
Itemised, with the system named and the scaffold included, so you can compare it properly against anyone else.
We'll tell you if it's not needed
If a repair will do rather than a full re-render, we'll say so — including when that's the smaller job for us.
One point of contact
You'll know who's coming, when they're coming, and who to ring. No chasing.
Common questions
Which render system is right for my house?
As a rule of thumb: silicone for re-rendering an existing house, particularly on exposed or coastal plots; monocouche for new build and extension blockwork; traditional sand and cement for period property, patch repairs and anywhere that's going to be painted a specific colour. We'll confirm which applies once we've seen the property, and explain why.
How much does rendering a house cost?
It depends on the size of the property, the condition of what's there now, the system chosen and the scaffold required — which is why we don't publish a rate. What we can promise is a detailed written quotation after a proper survey, itemised so you can see exactly what's included.
Do you work for developers and builders as well as homeowners?
Yes. Alongside homeowner work we take on rendering and brick and blockwork packages for developers, self-builders and main contractors, working to drawings and to a programme.
Do you do internal plastering?
We do, on request, usually for existing customers or alongside other work. It isn't our main focus — rendering and brickwork are what we specialise in.
How far do you travel?
Our core area is Cheshire, South Manchester, the Wirral, Liverpool, Wigan and Chester, and we take on selected work in North Wales. If you're slightly outside that, ask — it depends on the size of the project.
