Who we are
A focused trade, done properly
AJP Contractor Ltd is a rendering and brickwork company working across Cheshire, South Manchester, the Wirral, Liverpool, Wigan, Chester and into North Wales. We are a specialist contractor rather than a general builder — rendering and selected brickwork is what we do, all day, every day.
That focus is the whole point. Render systems are unforgiving of guesswork: get the mesh detailing wrong at a window corner, scrape a monocouche an hour too late, or rush a coat on in the wrong weather, and the wall will tell on you within a couple of winters. The only reliable defence is doing it often enough that the judgement calls are second nature.
Most of our work arrives by recommendation or from customers we've worked for before. We'd rather that stayed the case than chase volume, because it means the standard of the last job is what wins us the next one.
We work for homeowners, developers, self-builders and professional households — people who care more about the wall being right in ten years than about shaving a few hundred pounds off the quotation today. If you're looking purely for the cheapest number, we're almost certainly not it, and we'd rather say that now than waste your time.
